work axes

The Working Group is organized into three axes, which together constitute the theme of Strategy, Data, and Democracy for the conservation of Sovereignty, or, in simpler terms, Strategy, Data, and Sovereignty in a holistic manner:

POLITICAL-STRATEGIC AXIS

The first axis of the Working Group (WG) focuses on the political-strategic aspect, which is essential for the understanding and effective management of sensitive data in the context of preserving
national sovereignty and understanding the international scenario,
starting from the engaged user in sociotechnical networks.

To this end, scholars from the fields of Political Science, International Relations, Social Sciences, Defense, International Strategic Management, Psychology, among others, will be integrated into the group.

Technical-informational AXIS

The Technical-Informational Axis of the Working Group focuses on exploring and enhancing the technical and informational dimensions related to data science through the development of tools for data scraping, filtering, and protection. The tools and databases developed in the context of this WG will be encompassed within the Argos code, in order to unify the technical production of this WG.

To achieve this, scholars from the fields of Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, and Cybersecurity, among others, will be integrated into the group.

LEGAL-NORMATIVE AXIS

The Legal-Normative Axis aims to develop and refine the legal and regulatory framework associated with data use, focusing on the study of existing legislation and precedents on data protection, ethical norms for data use, and compliance with international regulation.

To achieve this, scholars from the broad field of Law, both national and international, will be integrated into the group.
